New show Emotive Theory on tonight
Tune in from 7 p.m. for noisy splendor & melodic punk.
Emotive Theory is KJHK’s new program covering emotive hardcore and all of its associated styles. Join me Friday evenings from 7 to 8 p.m. where you’ll hear everything from Washington D.C. genre-pioneering bands such as Rites of Spring and Embrace to modern-day DIY punk labels like Count Your Lucky Stars and Topshelf records. Featured acts include At The Drive-In, Slint, Bitch Magnet and many more.
If you’re a fan of expressive melodic punk or just into the whole DIY aesthetic, get stoked for this show.
