Experimental rock album from England comes with a jammy-surf atmosphere
In a world of far too many sleepy indie popsters, it’s refreshing to hear a good old-fashioned weird experimental record. This jam band gone wild hails from Bristol, England, where the dancey avant-garde scene is apparently getting pretty big. Bass-heavy with a sizeable dose of surf guitar and multilingual lyrics some of which to refer to a “sexy worm” (are you in yet?!). Sometimes the lead singer’s voice sounds sort of like a male version of tUnE-YarDs, if that gives you anything. So, keep KJHK weird! Play you some Zun Zun Egui!
