Kellen & Me: “Kellen & Me”

Unique digi-folk gives this album a refreshing feel.

So, I understand how tired everyone is getting of the same old folk thing, that seems to be plaguing the world right now, and yes I too (an avid folkster) am tired of it. However, Kellen & Me add a weird electronic feel to it. As hipster as this sounds, this would be the sound of someone walking through an antique mall looking and listening to weird tinker toys and vintage objects. Kellen & Me utilize a loop station to fill every song with different feelings and textures. He loops different electric piano feels and sounds from different toys and objects to create lovely harmonies and hook filled melodies, that make your mind wander in endless whimsy.
