Bend Sinister-Small Fame

Bend Sinister call back to the days of the Classic Rock giants

Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, Bend Sinister mixes the sounds of Queen, Steve Miller Band, Thin Lizzy and others to make a sound that is a modern classic. Out of the formally stated influences, Queen is the most prominent.  During some sections of their music I almost expected Brian May to come in with a guitar solo.  There is clever lyricism and catchy melodies, carried by both the keys and guitar, which keep you coming back for more.  Finding a less than stellar track on this album is near impossible.  From slow songs, like “Black Magic Woman” to the more rocking “Hot Blooded Man” and “Quest for Love”, Bend Sinister can take you through the many different phases of rock.
