10. Maryland Terrapins Maryland is the best team in college basketball that you’ve never heard of. Truthfully, I went back and forth and back and forth between who I wanted to put at this spot, between Maryland, Kansas, and Utah. I ruled out Utah since they completely looked out-manned against Arizona on Saturday, and Kansas has looked completely out-manned on TWO separate occasions this season, and one of them was to NIT-bound Temple. So naturally, I picked Maryland. The Maryland resurgence is also led by a player you may have never heard of, and that’s Melo Trimble. No.10 Jayhawks battle No.13 Utes on Saturday

After a 75-70 win over Georgetown on Wednesday Night in Washington, D.C. the No. 10 ranked team in the nation heads to Sprint Center on Saturday Afternoon to take on No. 13 Utah in the Kansas City Shootout. The Utes (7-1) are on a six-game winning streak like the Jayhawks. In this stretch the Utes upset Wichita State in Salt Lake City 69-68. On Wednesday Night survived a tough road task at BYU defeating the Cougars 65-61 in Provo, Utah. Against Georgetown the Jayhawks were led by Sophomore Guard Brannen Greene with a career-high 19 points going 5 for 5 from the 3-point line. Against BYU the Utes were led by Senior Guard Delon Wright…
