Flapjacks for Philanthropy–which will feature a deluxe, all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast served by Chris Cakes– is hosted by the sophomore Self Engineering Leadership Fellows, the Class of 2014. Tickets sell for $5 in advance, $7 at the door, and in past years, the fundraiser has served breakfast to over 600 supporters. For 2012, the Fellows have chosen to use the event to benefit GaDuGi SafeCenter, a rehabilitation center for victims of sexual violence. The event will take place on March 31, from 8am-11am in Eaton Atrium, and is open to all of the community, whether you are affiliated with the University of Kansas or not. The goal is to raise $3,500 for GaDuGi.
