Hard to pin down, but in a good way.
The use of various instruments on this record (from violin, to piano, to guitar for example) makes each track feel completely different from the last. ‘Resurrection’ sounds like a throwback to 70s rock while others don’t feature the squeal of a guitar nearly as exclusively. There’s really something for everyone on this album and it’s not a band whose sound can be easily labeled in black and white terms.
