Horn-heavy gospel beats that smoothly soothe.
A GREAT ALBUM! This is modern jazz at its finest. Mocean Worker blends different genres like hip-hop, funk, gospel, soul, and blues all while staying rooted in Jazz. Every song has a great up beat tempo and progresses nicely giving the listener a plethora of sounds (A lot of horns and percussion). Every song is good and so original its hard to decide which are my favorite but “My Own Little World” and “Out There in The Random” are my two favorites. Regardless play the cd and you will not have to skip over any song because they all bump!
