Indie singer-songwriter Lelia Broussard dropped by the KJHK studios Monday morning for an acoustic recording session.
Broussard is on a nationwide tour, and performed Monday at the Bottleneck, at 737 New Hampshire Street in Lawrence. Her latest full length album, Masquerade, came out in November 2010, and she also released the EP Wolves Are At My Door last August.
Here’s one song from theMonday morning session: titled “Satellite,” it’s a silly-yet-soulful robot love story, featuring Broussard’s fantastic voice and uptempo acoustic guitar rhythms.
