Unique electronic music lights a fire!
Luke Vibert is the technical mastermind behind many monikers including Wagon Christ, Kerrier District, and Plug. Under the Plug name, Vibert mainly releases his drum&bass projects. This is not your standard electronic fare however as Vibert relies heavily on funk and heavy use of vocal sampling. A lot of drum & bass tends to get intense and heavy but Vibert keeps it chill and fun while bopping along with his fast and technical bass lines. The amazing thing about this album to me is that all of these songs were originally written and recorded by Vibert over 15 years ago but still manages to sound just as fresh as anything else coming out now. Vibert was a big player in the early house music scene as well and became a forefather of the acid house scene. Definitely check this one out!!!
