This Thursday, on November 5th, a University Conversation co-hosted by Student Senate and SUA will take place over the topic of sexual assault on campus. This event begins at 8 p.m. in the SMRC classroom located in the Office of Multicultural Affairs. Four prominent members of the University of Kansas will lead a panel discussion, followed by a Q&A session during which students may submit questions.
These speakers include: Dr. Tamara Durham, Vice Provost of Student Affairs; Lance Watson, Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards; Joshua Jones, interim Director of the Office of Institutional Opportunity and Access (IOA) and Katy Rose-Mockry, Executive Director of the Emily Taylor Center for Women and Gender Equality.
