Our show is from 2 AM to 4 AM on Saturdays. With this post Alex and I will be telling a little bit about ourselves and why we decided to become the guys that speak pure chocolate into your speakers.

I grew up in somewhat of a musical household. My father played guitar and always played my brother and I records. Eventually my brother learned how to play guitar while I on the other hand turned to the computer.

Electronic music has always been appealing to me. From my early days of the Mortal Kombat soundtrack to my Daft Punk days throughout high school, to dubstep and everything in between. Have I taken a stab at making electronic music? Yes. Did it suck? You bet ya. Without any knowledge of playing music before proved to be a challenge when trying to make it. Who knew?

But I finally found the way to fill my musical urge. I make mash ups in a lot of my free time and DJ with my friends. Making mixes and putting songs together is one of the more rewarding things I do. Being a radio host kind of seemed like a good step in the right direction to have people listen to the music I love, because in all honesty. I don’t think many people look at my music Tumblr posts.

But enough of about what it is that I do when I’m not hosting. Lets move along to my Co-host/Roommate/Bro. Alex West

I was introduced to electronic music at a young age by my step brother Ian. Hes a lot older than I am and was off at college trying to make some extra cash. He invested in a mixer and a sound board and began toDJ at local bars and dance clubs. He introduced this style of electronic musc to me and i fell in love. I began to research other types of music such as dubstep, house, moombahton and heavy bass. Naturally i began to produce my own music on my computer at a young age and let me tell ya man it sucked.

My father worked at KJHK when he was a wee lad and said he loved it. So I decided that getting to talk and listen to music that i loved with one of my good buddys would be a great idea! I love it at KJHK. Its a great way to learn more about music and be involved in the music community.

Overall I got to say to say for the both of us is that we love ourselves some dance music, and we want to share our love with you, the listener.

by riley watson
tune in to late night seduction every friday from 2 – 4 a.m.

[4

post-10193","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-music
["GET
