From the unsettling beauties of Yellow House to the massive pop arrangements of Veckatimest, the group has already earned their stripes and critical acclaim. So, as they ask on the song \u201cColorado\u201d off of Yellow House, \u201cWhat now, what now, what now, what now?\u201d Well, the answer is Shields. They did it: the boys made an album of creation, preservation, and destruction. This is haunting, yet majestic. The band is egalitarian while featuring very up-front production for most vocal, drum, guitar, and other instrumental parts. Most of what I loved about the prior two albums has been mated perfectly together to create a revitalized and more involving soundstage throughout this album. Grizzly Bear is a non-electronic group on Warp Records, by the way.
