With its mellow vocals and acoustic guitar tracks, this album is perfect for autumn. The composition of this album is nothing less than beautiful. “Shake” is an uptempo melodic track and is the single off the album. The title track “Let’s Be Still” is my personal favorite with a slower tempo and a strong organ presence; it has a pretty cool vibe. “Homecoming Heroes” is a perfect opening track with layers of piano, violin and acoustic guitars. “Summertime” definitely stands out in comparison to the rest of the album, with synthesizers and a pop beat. All and all this album is great if you want to throw some mellow melody driven tunes on the air waves.

Recommended tracks-2, 6, 1, 4, 8, 9, 11 (All)

RIYL: Sea Wolf, Punch Brothers, Milo Greene

Label: Sub Pop

Reviewed by Emilie Stafford

[3230,181

post-26452","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-new-music-rotation","category-rock-rotation
["GET
