Featured in the documentary “A Band Called Death”, Death is portrayed as a hard-rocking group who made punk rock before the Ramones. III portrays the band in a slightly different light, featuring later material from ‘75-90s. The songs are a lot less hard than tracks like “Politicians in My Eyes”, showing influences in from other areas. I prefer the earlier material on here, but the album is surprisingly consistently good for it being the third set of material.
