Crystal is a poet with interest in place, science fiction, and afro-futurism. She received a PhD in American Studies from KU in May and will be teaching at Oregon State University in August.<\/p>\n

Louise is a nonfiction writer who completed a creative writing PhD at KU in May. She has published one memoir,\u00a0Louise Amended<\/em>, about her life-changing brain surgery.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b>Joshua Clover is a poet and faculty member at University of California-Davis, and visited KU in May as part of the KU Commons readings program. Megan Kaminski, KU professor, poet and former student of Dr. Clover, introduced and read alongside him.<\/p>\n
