They have been playing together since 1996 and ‘Cool Cocoon’ is their 12th studio album. Most of their albums they have produced themselves through their own label “Spintonic Recordings”.

Back when Spotify was new they recommended this album on their homepage. I gave them a listen and haven’t turned back. Their style could be considered retro with a twist of disillusionment and modern apathy and I love it.

Recommended If You Like: The Shins, Fanfarlo, The New Pornographers
Recommended Tracks: 1 (Shake It Off), 3 (What I Love), 4 (Memo), 6 (She Don’t Want Me), 8 (Enemy)
Do Not Play: None
Written by Stephen Goodrick Jr. on 04/26/2015

[181
3048,3052,3049,3047,3050,3051
post-34022","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-rock-rotation","tag-cool-cocoon","tag-delaware","tag-nick-krill","tag-the-spinto-band","tag-thomas-hughes","tag-wilmington
["GET
