Just as edgy as ever, the Girlpool duo is not afraid to speak up and sing out. Girlpool\u2019s simple chord progressions, easy basslines, and spoken lyrics border an experimentation with minimalism.<\/p>\n<p>These lo-fidelity lovelies don\u2019t let their young age or the patriarchy prevent them from being powerful. There\u2019s not a song on this album without wonderfully crafted songwriting and lyrics.<\/p>\n<p>This LP is seriously impressive. Pay attention to the lyrics, pay attention to Girlpool.
