Their first EP, <a href=\"https:\/\/whatevertapes.bandcamp.com\/album\/snow-daze-w4e-019\"><i>Snow Daze<\/i><\/a>, was released last July to much fanfare featuring their trademark harmonies and minimalist aesthetic. Their debut EP, <a href=\"https:\/\/paperbuffalo.bandcamp.com\/\"><i>White on White<\/i><\/a>, was released this year and has been getting praise from their many fans. With two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=6u-sLvib3yk\">Live @ KJHK<\/a> sessions and a 2014 Farmer\u2019s Ball semifinalist placing under their belt, there\u2019s no stopping this group.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Bottleneck Stage: ALL AGES<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Voyager (8 PM)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Voyager is a brand new band, shrouded in mystery.\u00a0Voyager will be performing their first live show at LFDF. Band members include local music scene veterans, John Huff and JP Redmon.\u00a0According to Jason Meier, LFDF organizer: \u00a0\u201cI\u2019ve been told by John it&#8217;s a heavy psychedelic stoner metal thing they are going for. Basically a REALLY tripped out Black Sabbath is what it sounded like to me. Their debut album, <i>No Regerts, <\/i>came out in 2013 to critical praise. They recently released their new album, <a href=\"https:\/\/chastity-belt.bandcamp.com\/album\/time-to-go-home\"><i>Time to Go Home<\/i><\/a>, in March. This avant-rock group will rock your mind with tracks from their most recent EP, <a href=\"https:\/\/jorgearanatrio.bandcamp.com\/\"><i>Oso<\/i><\/a>. The albums surfy vibes and good times are sure to leave you wanting more.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spencer Mackenzie Brown (11 PM)<a href=\"http:\/\/kjhk.org\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/spencer.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"  alignright wp-image-34471\" src=\"http:\/\/kjhk.org\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/spencer-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Spencer Mackenzie Brown Band\" width=\"173\" height=\"173\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kjhk.org\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/spencer-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/kjhk.org\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/spencer-125x125.jpg 125w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 173px) 100vw, 173px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/spencermackenziebrown\">Spencer Mackenzie Brown<\/a>\u2019s indie folk-rock band is going to be a great closing act for the night. Their first show was only mere months<br \/>\nago and since then they have become a Lawrence staple. Toughies are an indie pop rock band with members from Haunt Anata and Panda Circus. They were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=uCzJZ_tBBBM\">Farmers&#8217; Ball<\/a> finalists during the 2015 competition. Check out their Panda House Live <a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/toughies\">demos<\/a> on Soundcloud.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bonzo Madrid (8 PM)<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/bonzomadridmusic?fref=ts\">Bonzo Madrid<\/a> is the solo project of CJ Calhoun of Cowboy Indian Bear. He produces and explores interesting <a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/bonzo-madrid\">sounds<\/a> through his use of layering and synths. Along with their well crafted tunes, they seem to have great personalities to match. Their first full length album is set to release July 28th. The entire album is based around a concept of cities that no longer exist. Their recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=vQc-pzn5ZC8\">Live @ KJHK<\/a> session was great. His LP, Wood Floors, is extremely moving and complex. He will be teaming with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/LPMHMG?fref=ts\">Le$ Paul<\/a>, an Emcee who also hails from KC.Paul recently performed at SXSW with Tef Poe, GLC, and Jeru the Damaja.
