This man has been known for his style and tonight\u00a0was no different. Hammond Jr.\u2019s solo work, much\u00a0like The Strokes, translated really well to a live performance.\u00a0Hammond Jr. kept the crowd bouncing and vibing for just under an\u00a0hour and a half. He included in his set \u2018In Transit\u2019 off his 2006 album,\u00a0Yours to Keep, his biggest hit, \u2018St. Justice,\u2019 off of his career changing EP,\u00a0and as well as his latest singles, \u2018Side Boob\u2019 and \u2018Born Slippy\u2019 off\u00a0Momentary Masters.<\/p>\n<p>Hammond Jr. was tireless on stage, consistently\u00a0getting the crowd involved and making sly jokes between song breaks.\u00a0At one point he even got down from the stage and did a lap around the\u00a0entire crowd, proving that he is as energetic and passionate as ever\u00a0about his new music.<\/p>\n<p>Hammond Jr.\u2019s music performs like you\u2019ve heard\u00a0it before even if you haven\u2019t. The guitar riffs were often simple yet\u00a0dynamic with the occasional solo\u2014all of which felt so right as the\u00a0notes penetrated through your ears and slid down your spine.
