From Daptone, no less? Of course you&#8217;ll love it!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This album is fantastic. It\u2019s a compilation of soul tracks from western Africa from the 1960\u2019s, and has tons of funky riffs and great beats. None of the songs are in English, but they\u2019re sung in a James Brown-y style, so it takes a while to realize that it\u2019s in a different language. This would be perfect in a beat lover\u2019s shift, or any time you\u2019re aching for something funky and phenomenal.
