Their first full-length release <em>Alleys To Valleys <\/em>was released in 2003 via Sydney label Elefant Traks. <em>Dark Night Sweet Light <\/em>is Hermitude\u2019s latest release, a follow-up to the group\u2019s 2012 album <em>HyperParadise<\/em>\u00a0which went platinum in Australia. The album\u2019s title track was also remixed by Flume. The duo has performed at many American festivals including Lollapalooza, SXSW, and Wakarusa.<\/p>\n<p><em>Dark Night Sweet Light <\/em>features a selection of original and remixed tracks including appearances from Mississippi rapper Big K.R.I.T. and Detroit\u2019s Chuck Inglish. The album\u2019s approach stems from the time Dubber and Stuart spent in the electronic scene in Los Angeles in the early 2000s after their success at home.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUkiyo\u201d and \u201cBermuda Bay\u201d shine on this record providing adequate coastal vibes regardless of the continent. Other notable tracks include \u201cThe Buzz\u201d featuring Mataya and Young Tapz and \u201cMetropolis.\u201d <em>Dark Night Sweet Light <\/em>finishes up by offering alternative versions of a handful of tracks and the duo join Chuck Inglish for a remix of \u201cHijinx.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Formerly bandmates in their project \u201cFunk Injections\u201d as teens, Dubber and Stuart have propelled Hermitude on to a global platform.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recommended If You Like: Flume, ODESZA, Shigeto, SBTRKT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Recommended Tracks: 3 (Ukiyo), 5 (Bermuda Bay), 8 (The Buzz feat.
