After a two week break from posting our charts, we’re back with rad new and returning music.<\/p>\n

Returning to number one this week is Stolen Jars! Their second LP,\u00a0Kept<\/a><\/em><\/span>, is a beautiful mix of subtly entrancing guitar plucks and delicate vocal harmonies. This return to the top five\u00a0is a testament to the beauty of this album, and the future that Cody Fitzgerald and Molly Grund have with their project Stolen Jars. Second on the chart is Youth Lagoon, with\u00a0Savage Hills Ballroom.\u00a0<\/em>Not surprising that this album has garnered success following a fantastic performance at KJHK’s 40th birthday celebration<\/a><\/span>.\u00a0Number three on the chart this week is Beach House, with\u00a0Depression Cherry<\/a><\/span>,\u00a0<\/em>an album that KJHK already holds near and dear, as evident in it’s long run on our chart. The fourth spot on this week’s chart goes to Delta Saints’ Bones<\/a><\/em><\/span>, a country album steeped in psychedelia and blues. This third LP release is another long runner in our top five. And lastly, Circa Waves with their debut LP\u00a0Young Chasers<\/a><\/span>,\u00a0<\/em>a carefree but occasionally complex surf rock follow up their successful spring EP release.<\/p>\n

Denver based group, The Yawpers, bring about reminiscent\u00a0sentiments with their driving rock album\u00a0American Man.\u00a0<\/em>Lastly,\u00a0Sugar Now, a<\/em>\u00a0genre hopping album from\u00a0UK group\u00a0Cristobal and the Sea that flows from Americana to Bossanova seamlessly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
