Yes! Fading Frontier does not disappoint. It has the same upbeat, electronic guitar riffs and thought-provoking lyrics Bradford Cox is known for. This album is not particularly different from any of their older ones but Deerhunter is so unique and it doesn’t make them sound any less so.

“Living My Life” is a silly, repetitive anthem for a good day. “Take Care” begins with Cox’s hypnotic voice and then breaks into a shimmery guitar interlude. “Leather and Wood” sounds like Sufjan Stevens with strange instrumentation and softer singing. “Ad Astra” is a favorite with a spacey background that will get stuck in your head. Overall, Fading Frontier is a good album.
