Lucky, then, that Lawrence is home to Sylas and Maddy\u2019s, a wonderland of flavors to make Baskin-Robbins blush.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Located at 1014 Massachusetts St., Sylas and Maddy\u2019s offers freshly made ice cream with flavors like green tea, English toffee, and blueberry cheesecake. In the lengthy process of deciding what to order, there were sampled varieties with delightful names like the Phog and Jayhawk tracks. The Phog is a refreshing, crisp mixture of various berries; and Jayhawk tracks is a Kansas take on moose tracks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-39365 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/kjhk.org\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/IMG_5459-194x300.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5459\" width=\"226\" height=\"349\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kjhk.org\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/IMG_5459-194x300.jpg 194w, https:\/\/kjhk.org\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/IMG_5459-662x1024.jpg 662w, https:\/\/kjhk.org\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/IMG_5459.jpg 1887w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 226px) 100vw, 226px\" \/>Ultimately, the ice cream of choice was\u00a0cinnamon, which is a sentimental favorite. When scooped into a waffle cone, the combination of sugar and cinnamon is reminiscent of Cinnamon\u00a0Toast Crunch.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If you want bang for your buck, you can head down to Sylas and Maddy\u2019s on Tuesday\u00a0evenings for student night, when it\u2019s two for one. Fair warning, be prepared for a short wait; I\u2019ve seen the line snake through the store and out onto the sidewalk.
