Night School<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>you can find a full stream of the album on Neon Indian’s youtube channel<\/a>. An electronic synth pop album, this third release from Mom+Pop\/Transgressive is highly experimental and elusive, blending old and new sounds to create an engaging and undeniably energetic listening experience.<\/p>\n

Number two on our chart is Homeshake’s\u00a0Midnight Snack<\/a><\/em>, the second warped and oozy\u00a0indie funk\u00a0LP\u00a0from Peter Sagar, a former touring guitarist for Mac Demarco. Wand takes\u00a0takes the number three spot with the fuzzy garage rock album\u00a01000 Days<\/a>.<\/em>\u00a0Number four goes to Widowspeak’s\u00a0All Yours,\u00a0<\/em>and rounding out the top 5 this week is Deradoorian’s experimental and entrancing\u00a0The Expanding Flower Planet<\/a>, the debut release from former Dirty Projectors member Angel Deradoorian.<\/p>\n
