Breakbot did their research and honed their skills to provide an album that respects the history of dance music while presenting the retro feel in a modern way. It has been noted in many interviews that Breakbot\u2019s biggest influence is Michael Jackson, and it really shows in songs like \u201cMy Toy\u201d and \u201cToo Soon\u201d where the singers voice eerily resembles the voice of the King of Pop.<\/p>\n<p>The album consistently churns out funky bass lines, slick synths, and addicting grooves at varying tempos. \u201cArrested\u201d features a back and forth singing conversation between Ruckazoid and Irfane. The way each singer plays off each other and the background is insanely satisfying. Other songs feature great usage of talk boxes and vocoders to ascend the vocals to a new level of funk.<\/p>\n<p>There is nothing completely unique or experimental to be heard, but Breakbot\u2019s sophomore album is a solid continuation of their career so far.
