The
lyrical melodies created by the duo of David Lamb and MorganEve Swain are chilling and
reminds the listener of the hardships that still plague people’s lives. Unlike the former
albums, which tended to be more mellow, this album is definitely more of a porch-stomping
album. Songs like “Blood of Angels” (track 5) and “Come My Way” (track 8) have similarities
to songs of Andrew Bird. I would definitely recommend this album if you are on “the Bird”
scene.

Reviewed by: Dusty Meyers on November 5th, 2011

RIYL: Blues, Folk, Bluegrass, Andrew Bird

Recommended Tracks: 1, 2, 3, 5

FCC Warning: None

Label: Supply & Demand

Release Date: October 18th, 2011

[3230,181
451
post-4628","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-new-music-rotation","category-rock-rotation","tag-brown-bird-dusty-meyers
["GET
