They were touring in support of The Buckinghams. The Byrds also played at the High School in 1969.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>1974,<\/strong> John Lennon\u2019s Walls and Bridges went to No. 1 in the U.S. It was Lennon\u2019s second No. 1 (solo) album in the U.S. and it produced his only No. 1 single (\u201cWhatever Gets You Thru the Night\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>1979,<\/strong> The Commodores\u2019 \u201cStill\u201d reached the top spot on U.S. charts.
