Something about that line perturbed me as someone who was going to sound really shitty because they were going to try real hard to make some type of “lamestream” pop music. And although they definitely stay soft and poppy, some of the songs were creative enough to be clever and original enough to catch my attention. I also like how quickly these songs can change from fast/slow, quiet/frantic, or in some other dramatic fashion if the band so pleases.

Reviewed by: Zack Marsh on November 26th, 2011

RIYL: Indie-anthems, Midwest indie pop, muse?

Recommended Tracks: 2, 1, 9 and 4

FCC Warning: None

Label: Tempo Club

Release Date: October 23rd, 2011

Radiohead for Coldplay fans?
