Since <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tyranny <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(2014) the Voidz have been gearing up for their sophomore album <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Virtue <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">set to release March 30th. Until then, we\u2019ve been gifted three singles from <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Virtue <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">with their most recent release \u201cPointlessness.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cPointlessness\u201d is the slowest of the three singles, with an eerie intro that sounds like the aftermath of a war (themes they covered in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tyranny<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">). The track sounds good but doesn\u2019t necessarily bring anything new to the table. For those who played \u201cHuman Sadness\u201d on repeat will notice \u201cPointlessness\u201d sounds like a watered-down version of the Voidz\u2019 most popular track. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Despite this criticism, \u201cPointlessness\u201d is still a solid track and if it proves anything for <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Virtue <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">it\u2019s that the weakness of the album would be redundancy.
