It’s a new week which means a new set of charts and adds! Loads of great new music has come our way in the past few weeks so be sure to give some (or all!) of these a listen. Here’s what we’ve been loving:<\/p>\n

1.) Lala Lala –\u00a0The Lamb<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

At number one this week we have Lala Lala. Lillie West, the 24 year old Chicago based songwriter behind Lala Lala is back with their 2nd LP and debut on Hardly Art. The album is “chock full o’ hooks, roaring guitars, and palpable emotion.” Lala Lala will be opening for WHY? at recordBar on Tuesday, November 6th.<\/p>\n

2.) Hypoluxo –\u00a0Running on a Fence<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

(From previous week:) Hypoluxo, out of Brooklyn, NY, are making waves with their second full length album,\u00a0Running on a Fence.\u00a0<\/em>The album is a seamless collection of shoegaze, dream pop, and post-punk. Front-man Samuel Cogen’s voice is described as\u00a0 “a little mellow with a baritone croon somewhere between Joy Division\u2019s Ian Curtis and The National\u2019s Matt Berninger.” Definitely recommended for fans of both of those bands.<\/p>\n

3.) BROCKHAMPTON –\u00a0iridescence<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

(From previous week) The hip hop collective’s newest album takes a more artistic turn than their prior Saturation trilogy, with a new lineup and a balance between mosh-pit bangers and melodic moments. BROCKHAMPTON will be performing at the Midland in Kansas City TONIGHT, October 9th.<\/p>\n

4.) The Babe Rainbow –\u00a0Double Rainbow<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Australian psych-pop trio The Babe Rainbow come in at number four with their new album\u00a0The Babe Rainbow. <\/em>The album is full of relaxing and easy going tunes that are full of 60’s folk and psych-rock influence.<\/p>\n

5.) Exploded View – Obey<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n

Exploded View are back with their second full length,\u00a0Obey.\u00a0<\/em>The album is dark and hypnotic, and brings together a variety of sounds and moods that makes the whole record feel otherworldly.<\/p>\n
