Diverging in several senses from previous works, like&nbsp;<em>Negro Swan<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Angel\u2019s Pulse<\/em>&nbsp;is an eclectic \u201cmix-tape\u201d of sorts, featuring a plethora of collaborators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.simpleimageresizer.com\/_uploads\/photos\/169e32f8\/drab_majesty_320x320.jpg?w=1200\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2.) Drab Majesty &#8211; <em>Modern Mirror<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Described as a \u201cGothic-New Wave\u201d duo, Drab Majesty crafts shimmery synth pop tracks that seem to transcend time and genre. Listening to&nbsp;<em>Modern Mirror<\/em>&nbsp;is like having an fever dream set in the 80\u2019s (in the best way possible). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.simpleimageresizer.com\/_uploads\/photos\/4f31cd82\/gauche_320x320.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3.) Guache &#8211; <em>A People&#8217;s History of Gauche<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gauche features members previously known for their work in groups like Priests and Downtown Boys. <em>A People&#8217;s History of Gauche<\/em>, the group&#8217;s first EP, is described as a mixture of &#8220;70\u2019s sax solos, 80\u2019s synth, and 90\u2019s power punk.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.simpleimageresizer.com\/_uploads\/photos\/169e32f8\/night_moves_320x320.jpg?w=1200\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4.) Night Moves &#8211; <em>Can You Really Find Me<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This third album from Minneapolis group Night Moves is perhaps their most dazzling work yet. The dim, neon-illuminated room on the cover of&nbsp;<em>Can You Really Find Me<\/em>&nbsp;echoes the dreamy, soulful quality of the songs within.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/media.pitchfork.com\/photos\/5ce41272c13a4571bee8321c\/1:1\/w_320\/PurpleMountains_PurpleMountains.jpg?w=1200&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"Image result for purple mountains album cover\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>5.) Purple Mountains \u2013&nbsp;<em>Purple Mountains<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>David Berman of Silver Jews returned after a lengthy hiatus during which he spent a great deal of time reading and reflecting. Written following a series of strained personal relationships and the death of his mother,&nbsp;<em>Purple Mountains&nbsp;<\/em>is a study in grief, resentment, and quiet introspection.
