But when <em>Front Row Seat to Earth<\/em> came out in &#8217;16, I think she really came into her own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. She&#8217;s been compared to Lana Del Rey, but I think Weyes Blood has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In &#8217;19, Weyes Blood released this; <em>Titanic Rising<\/em>, her most accomplished album. I think her undisputed masterpiece is &#8220;Movies&#8221;. A song so catchy, most people probably don&#8217;t listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it\u2019s not just about the false perceptions painted within films and the importance of self-worth.
