Elliot Moss &#8211; <em>A Change in Diet<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elliot Moss&#8217;s music sits in a sweet spot between Bon Iver and Chet Faker \u2014 distorted, silky vocals layered over soulful electronica. Despite the similarities, however, <em>A Change in Diet<\/em> further establishes Moss as his own name in the alternative music scene. Destroyer &#8211; <em>Have We Met<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Destroyer&#8217;s <em>Have We Met<\/em> is a return to form for the artistic- and poetic-minded Dan Bejar. The artist&#8217;s vocals float over a backdrop of lushly layered synthesizer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.pitchfork.com\/photos\/5e2f5b8c3efc03000962bc3e\/1:1\/w_320\/Mystic%20Familiar_Dan%20Deacon.jpg\" alt=\"Image result for dan deacon mystic familiar\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3.) Dan Deacon &#8211; <em>Mystic Familiar<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <em>Mystic Familiar<\/em>, Dan Deacon delivers what Terrorbird promotion describes as &#8220;the stunning result of years of obsessive work, play, and self-discovery.&#8221; Unlike many of his recent projects, this new record marks a return in Deacon&#8217;s vocals, which add to the rich tapestry of playful sounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.pitchfork.com\/photos\/5e2897b825643f00082b2e88\/1:1\/w_320\/first%20album_glass%20beach.jpg\" alt=\"Image result for glass beach the first glass beach album\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4.) glass beach &#8211; <em>the first glass beach album<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> When glass beach set out to create their first album, they went in hard: each song was recorded and re-recorded, experimentally, until the album reached its chaotic, spectacular final form. glass beach sits in a sweet spot somewhere between the absurdity of Animal Collective and 100 gecs and the refined post-emo sounds of groups like American Pleasure Club. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0161\/8690\/products\/BELLA1022V_1024x.jpg?v=1579612617\" alt=\"Image result for ezra furman sex education soundtrack\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5.) Ezra Furman &#8211; <em>Sex Education Original Soundtrack<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ezra Furman&#8217;s artsy folk-punk style is a perfect complement to the antics in Netflix&#8217;s original show, Sex Education.
