<\/a>Plow the Fields is cheating a little bit this week. For those of you unfamiliar, PTF is a weekly local rock showcase. But, this week I’m mixing it up..because I can. Instead of playing you local tracks this week, I’m playing all national acts that will be touring through Lawrence this semester. Yes, I love local music BUT I love being able to see national acts that we’ve had in rotation here at KJHK just as much.<\/p>\nOne of the best parts about living in this great little town is the amount of touring bands that come through on a weekly basis; it’s something that I regret not taking advantage of earlier in my college career. For example, Zola Jesus<\/a>, M83<\/a>, Blind Pilot<\/a>, Cults<\/a>, AND Youth Lagoon<\/a> are all rolling through Lawrence this semester. That’s insane, people! What’s even better is that’s not even half of the national acts that are touring through here within the next 5 months.
