I love the way older love songs sound and make me think about how love is the one constant we can share with people in the past. I like to think of Valentine’s Day as a way to think of all the people in my life I love whether it be friends, partners, family, or even pets and take it as a time to tell the people I love that I appreciate them for being in my life. When I listen to this playlist, I think of my friends that contributed to the playlist, my pets which definitely have their picky music tastes, and my partner who I love very much. I hope this playlist fills you with nostalgic happiness and love this Valentine’s Day!

Baby I’m Yours- Cass Eliot

Half a Person- The Smiths

Going Out Of My Head- The Zombies

The Hum- Margo Guryan

Friday I’m In Love- The Cure

I Could Never Love Another- The Temptations

How Could You Love Me- The Turtles

Head Over Heels- Tears For Fears

After Hours- Velvet Underground

Dream A Little Dream Of Me- The Mamas & The Papas

Hey Lover- The Daughters Of Eve

Why Do I Cry- Margo Guryan

Oogum Boogum Song- Brenton Wood

Baby, I Love You- Ramones

Forever- Single Version- The Little Dippers

Somethin’ Stupid- Frank Sinatra, Nancy Sinatra

Be My Baby- The Ronettes

A Sunday Kind Of Love- Etta James

Kiss Me- Sixpence None The Richer

My Girl- The Temptation

Stupid Cupid- Connie Francis

Call Me When You Want Me- Love Apple

Love Songs- Margo Guryan

Fever- Peggy Lee

Written by Emily Sirtak For this Valentine’s Day playlist, I wanted to make a collection of older love songs ranging from the late fifties early sixties, all the way to the nineties.
