Well look no further! My very wise and very insightful 50 year-old father, Geoff, has created his perfect list of movies, with explanations! So settle down, open a streaming app, and enjoy the movie(s)!<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Top Gun: Maverick (2022)<\/b>, \u201cUSA Pride and constant action makes me feel good to cheer for the hero while being distracted so my mind can solve problems without my interference\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. The Last Samurai (2003)<\/b>, \u201cSometimes I watch this to remember my purpose is to serve others\u2026 Egos can stagnate growth\u2026 this movie allows me to \u201creset\u201d\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. The Rocky Series (1976-90)<\/b>, \u201cLove The Underdog Story Line!! I remember All things are possible when I believe in the result!! Can\u2019t Teach Heart, But it\u2019s good to see the example\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. The Cutting Edge (1992)<\/b>, \u201cSentimental of my childhood!! Great Positive Movie that always made me smile, laugh, and remember Love is key!! (I didn\u2019t know what love was back then\u2026 but I knew I wanted to feel it because of this movie)\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Save The Last Dance (2001)<\/b>, \u201cI moved a lot in my childhood and this movie made me remember how many different cultures and people I was exposed to in my development!! This movie makes me appreciate my journey from boy to young man\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. The Karate Kid (1984)<\/b>, \u201cI watched this movie with my father at the theater!! I love this movie because I always saw my dad as Mr Miyagi \u2026.. My dad was the greatest teacher I\u2019ve ever had\u2026. This movie is more about me having a conversation with my dad and less about the movie\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Die Hard (1988)<\/b>, \u201cThis movie makes me think of your mother\u2026. I love this movie but I love thinking about your mom while this is on!!\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Jaws (1975)<\/b>, \u201cOne of my first movies that impacted my life\u2026.. I never wanted to go into the water because of this movie!! Truth.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. The Last Dragon (1985)<\/b>, \u201cSame story of my life\u2026. I use this movie to remember\u2026 walk humble but Greatness Lives In All Of Us!! Always Be Ready To Shine.<\/li>\n
  10. Far and Away (1992)<\/b>, \u201cI think of your mother when I see this!! I think she left her family to share her life with a guy from an unstructured background and she was happy!! \u2026. I think about our struggles that we experienced together\u2026 I also think how well it ends\u2026.
