On behalf of KJHK and SUA, we are so grateful to each and every person that made the Farmer’s Ball Semi-Finals so special this past Friday.<\/p>\n

Thank you to the incredible crew at the Bottleneck, without whom we couldn’t have put on this event.<\/p>\n

To all of the bands who submitted to our online form and to those who made the top 16: thank you for sharing your music with us! You keep this event alive and thriving.<\/p>\n

To the top 8 bands at Semi-Finals — Barefoot Cult, Discotek Mama, Limestone, Mosaic, Static Cathedral, The State of Everything, and The Ugly Cowboys<\/strong><\/span> —\u00a0 thank you for pouring your hearts into your craft and onto that stage. That we were able to share such an unforgettable night with you as audience members is truly a gift.<\/p>\n

To the volunteers, executive, and faculty members for SUA and KJHK, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and commitment to this event. It paid off in dividends. Shout out especially to Gus Ketchell, our Live Events Director, for organizing one killer shindig!<\/p>\n

And finally, to all of the amazing people that came out to the Bottleneck for the show, we can not thank you enough. At one point in the evening, we reached venue capacity (i.e. ~375 people), and there was a line out the door to get in!! We are so grateful to you, the Lawrence community, for your unwavering support of our student-run radio station and our Farmer’s Ball event. You are so near and dear to our hearts. <3<\/p>\n
