Avid Dancer is a really new band that doesn’t have an incredible amount of information about them online, but has toured with the likes of Cold War Kids and Warpaint. Regardless, they have a pretty low-key sound that is enjoyable to listen to.
“Stop Play With Me Heart” is the first single that got a lot of attention from people, and rightfully so. The song entrances you with a sound very similar to that of Tame Impala’s. This song transitions into “All Your Words Are Gone”, which abandons the Tame Impala entrancement sound and takes on a more light, sing-a-long, folksy sound.
Avid Dancer kind of plays around with their styling with each song, so you’re bound to find at least one song you’ll enjoy. Give it a chance!
