This last week on Across the Pond, Gerald Nyiti, an MBA student, came on to tell us about Tanzania. Gerald was born and raised in Tanzania before getting a job in Lagos, Nigeria.
From there he came to KU to finish his collegiate degree. In this episode, he discusses his journey to the United States. He also shares information about several Tanzanian cultural traditions including: marriage, family and their love of dance. You can also a sneak peak into a few of Gerald’s favorite Swahili songs including, “Number One” by Diamond Platnumz and “Mwana” by Ali Kiba.
