At KJHK we seek out the best new music releases to broadcast on our radio! Here are some songs to look out for in our new music rotation!
Marriage- The Bug Club. The Bug Club combines the groovy guitar riffs of early 2000s indie rock with the humor and carefree attitude of some early punk bands like the Ramones. This track is a blast from start to finish, with bizarrely clever lyricism that leaves you laughing to yourself.

Deadend- Liney Blu. Liney Blu’s EP titled Pennsylvania St. is a pleasure to listen to with Deadend being my highlight. It’s the longest track on the EP, clocking in over six minutes, with not one moment wasted. “Deadend” carries an air of heartache and nostalgia while depicting a story that all our sensitive Midwestern hearts can relate to.

Everything’s Beautiful- Hiatus Kaiyote. This new track from the Australian band is an absolute delight. Singer Nai Palm’s voice is outstanding as ever, with killer vocal layering and runs everywhere. The band creates a fresh, funk-infused sound in this track, even incorporating a killer flute feature. Hiatus Kaiyote creates a sound that any fan of any genre can enjoy, and this song showcases the band’s charisma at its finest.
