New EP from up and coming Power Pop group
Dead Feathers is one of those rare gems that expertly walk that edge between radio-friendly hooks and indie charm that should have music lovers around the world drooling. These songs need to be on KJHK. Although there are three tracks, there are only two songs on this EP, the third track being an edited version of track two. The EP starts out with an indie anthem fit for the rowdiest skateboarding session. It will be stuck in your head for days, and you’ll be okay with that. The second track is a rock duet with all the power of a summer romance. The male vocals carry hints of Michael Stipe and the noisy jam near the end puts me in a music coma as it rides towards the sunset.
