Unknown Mortal Orchestra-II

More 60s Revival..will the Winter of Love ever end?

Unknown Mortal Orchestra is yet another great example of a band who knows how to marry their 60’s pop sensibility with a modern touch. It’s no wonder that they are label mates with rising stars Foxygen and I would have to say that Unknown Mortal Orchestra gives them a run for their money. Songs like “Swim and Sleep (Like a Shark)” and “So Good at Being in Trouble” carry the psychedelic sound of groups like Pink Floyd but you can also hear a touch of Sly and the Family Stone in there. You can tell that these are true 60’s pop connoisseurs and they wear their influences on their sleeve. A great addition to the recent 60’s revival.

Think: 60s psych and pop and bands like Foxygen
