By Trevor Graff: The conference season is coming to a close with Kansas, Missouri and Baylor fighting for the conference title with the relative safety of a probable NCAA tournament berth. The next tier of the Big 12 will either play their way in to the tournament or fall on the wrong side of the bubble.
The stretch-run is here for Kansas basketball. The toughest stretch on the schedule for KU started this weekend with a 72-64 loss to Iowa State in Hilton Coliseum. This stretch of games includes four ranked squads and five road games.
