Cult of Youth: (Self-Titled)

I suppose this is technically folk music but it definitely gets its attitude from punk music.  The lead singer’s passionate singing goes well with Cult of Youth’s  acoustic guitar and violin sounds.  The ability to hear every string is inspiring.  Some of these songs build a lot and get pretty heavy and emotional by the end  but then brings you back to reality by the start of the next song.  Occasionally it reminds me of Irish drinking songs from cheesy movies with the addition of acoustic instruments.
