Your favorite funky classics on Hi-Hi Classic-O.
This week, Hi-Ho Classic-O is planning on funking it up! That means favorites from your classics: Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Dr. John, Prince and George Clinton & P Funk, just to name a few.
My recent funk craze was inspired by the announcement of George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic playing in May at the Crossroads in Kansas City, Kansas. I can’t wait!
But, back to the show… Hi-Ho Classic-O mostly focuses on Classic Rock, but this week will be focusing on “Classics,” as in oldies. Those tunes that everyone knows and are a joy to hear at the end of a day.
On my promotional commercial you hear me say, “Your favorite classic rock and feel good tunes.” Well, it’s time for the feel good tunes. I’m gonna start out my switch to “Classics” with my favorite oldies which are FUNK. I will stick to the idea of my show, which is classic rock and “feel good tunes,” and will be throwing in some classic rock hits as well. This will transition very well at 10:00 p.m. to Vintage Vinyl, the show after me.
