Proof married couples can create good music (and albums!).
This here is the follow-up to 936, a groovy recording of early 2011, by Wisconsin-grounded now-married duo Peaking Lights. If 936 was a synthy album of all the amazing and wonderful marshmallow yellow sun that shines in summertime (which it was), Lucifer is the more mystic ecstasy of marital bliss. Sounds odd? John and Yoko, Paul and Linda… this sentiment is no new thing, but neither of those pairs expressed it in any way even near this kind of synthesizer heaven. Add this to your rotation show for a relaxation session in groove harmony.
Quick Take: Mid-length, blissful soundscapes of cosmo-psych painted in shades of dub and art-rock.
