Funky, Brian-Wilson-influenced odd-pop jams
Released on Animal Collective’s Pawtracks label, this is the second album from Mississippi-based oddity, Dent May. Ditching the Ukulele that made him (a little bit) famous, he returns with a very amiable album that is full of funk and fun. Don’t take my few short words for it, though! Just play it.
