Crystal Boson
Crystal is a poet with interest in place, science fiction, and afro-futurism. She received a PhD in American Studies from KU in May and will be teaching at Oregon State University in August.
Louise Krug
Louise is a nonfiction writer who completed a creative writing PhD at KU in May. She has published one memoir, Louise Amended, about her life-changing brain surgery.

Joshua Clover is a poet and faculty member at University of California-Davis, and visited KU in May as part of the KU Commons readings program. Megan Kaminski, KU professor, poet and former student of Dr. Clover, introduced and read alongside him.
